Job Summary: A Technical Consultant provides specialized expertise and guidance in implementing technology solutions, optimizing system performance, and driving technology-driven business improvements for clients. The role involves consulting with clients to assess needs, designing custom technical solutions, leading implementation projects, and providing ongoing support. The Technical Consultant serves as a bridge between clients’ business requirements and the technical solutions necessary to achieve their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, assess technical requirements, and define project objectives.
- Solution Design: Develop and propose technical solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring alignment with business goals, budget, and timelines.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute technical projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
- Implementation & Integration: Lead or assist in the deployment of solutions, including software implementation, systems integration, and configuration adjustments.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure smooth system operation and client satisfaction.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation on project specifications, processes, configurations, and client interactions.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Educate and train end-users or client teams on new systems or solutions, enabling them to maximize the benefits of implemented technology.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure cohesive project execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Experience: 2+ years in a technical consulting or related IT role; experience with system implementations or software solutions is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, operating systems, and system architecture. Familiarity with cloud services, CRM/ERP systems, and cybersecurity is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP certification is a plus).
